Paper Prototype
A paper prototype of Bungie's Halo Reach, replicating the majority of the game and testing simplification of enemy AI.
The game uses a simple map of hexagonal tiles, to be shaped in any form to replicate the environment the team plays in. The rules together with some dice, the grid, miniatures and several markers for cover and weapons cabinets allowed up to four players to test and play the game.
The rules and values the prototype utilizes, replicate the ones from the released game. Through many hours of playing and testing, a complete and accurate workout of the enemy weapons, friendly weapons, enemy behavior (including dodge moves and leadership tests) and friendly dodge moves arose and allowed for accurate testing of the enemy AI.
Full documentation available on request.
