Eridani Wars
Eridani Wars is a Remake of Star Raiders, an old 8-bit Atari game programmed by Doug Neubauer released in 1979. Our client was a big fan of the old game and wanted us to capture the essence of the old game but brought up to present day standards. Including me a team of eight people worked for a total of 28 days bringing this game to completion.
During the duration of the project I learned how to cope with steep milestones, prioritization for successful delivery and clients demands and requests. It was a very enriching experience and I feel more competent of fulfilling the role as a lead because of it.

The game is a 3D space shooter, featuring
- Tactical movement between sectors on the map; - Fuel efficiency; - Engagement in dogfights; - Use front and rear cannons to destroy the enemy; - Protect the space stations; - Tactically refill fuel; - Defeat all enemies with as many space stations in tact. |
